Machine Garden is a living sculpture that incorporates biology, art, and technology. The project uses digitally programmed micro peristaltic pumps to irrigate the plants with worm water and other digital design processes. I am a Biology major beginning to take art classes so Machine Garden provides an example of how I can mix my biology background with art. Machine Garden is also highly relevant to my current curriculum because I am taking a 3-D art class which is a field I am unfamiliar with.
