Josan Gonzalez is a Spanish artist who is well known for his cyberpunk art with which he has published two artbooks. Two of the most striking aspects of Gonzalez’s art are his frequently monochromatic color schemes and the hard lines that separate the colors. Not necessarily a whole monochromatic artwork but several monochromatic pieces make up a whole artwork with a particular distinction between warm and cool colors. This style is a great complement to the characteristically detailed art of the cyberpunk genre. A good take-home point for my artwork is how the color design creates an easily digestible image on the first impression while still maintaining a detailed look that makes his artbooks dense and enjoyable.
